About the Artist

a photographic artist and master photographic printer based in Dublin, Ireland specialising in a mix of 19th century and 21st century printing techniques. As well as his own artistic practice he has run specialist archival digital print studio Exhibit A since 2008. Since his his first formal solo exhibition in 2007at the Mermaid Arts Centre Gallery, Bray, Co. Wicklow his work has been widely exhibited including the Royal Academy in London and the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin.

In 2017, he was shortlisted for the Renaissance Photography Prize in the UK and exhibited at the Getty Gallery in London. In 2018, he won first prize at the InCadaques Photography Festival Open Call resulting in a solo show during the festival in Cadaqués, Spain. In 2021 he was a finalist for the Hariban Award in Japan.

He is currently working on finishing a body of work for a large solo show in France curated by diChroma Photography, Madrid, Spain and is working on his first photobook due for release in 2023.

Dominic also co-runs (with photographer Amelia Stein and designer Steve Averill) a small photobook publishing company called Blink Editions who have produced 3
limited edition hand made books to date.
