Product Description

Young photographer Arno Brignon accepted the opportunity to throw himself into the adventure of territorial residencies. For two months he went to meet the people of the Couserans, offering to take a different look at their past, their scenery and their day to day life. This publication, that mixes amateur photography with the artists own work, is the record of the encounter between the photographer and the region's inhabitants. Veiled and unveiled portraits, fractures and gashes, given or hidden landscapes, each photograph pays an emotional tribute to those who have accepted to be swept away by the artist.

This encounter between the art of photography and the day to day life of the residents came about thanks to the "Résidences de Territoire" plan initiated by the Regional Direction of cultural affairs of Languedoc-Roussil-lon-Midi-Pyrénées (Drao) in association with the PETR of the Couserans area.
