"Salsa" is the Latin word for "salted", and in the Concordia: Salsa expansion for Concordia, players will discover:
- Two new maps: "Byzantium" and "Hispania"
- Salt: Wooden Salt tokens (a sixth commodity) and city tokens for additional Salt cities. Salt can be exchanged for any other commodities at any time, making it essentially a "wild" commodity.
- The Forum: 27 Forum cards for new strategies to follow. The Forum cards are all different and can be acquired during the game to salt your game with new strategic challenges. Some cards provide permanent effects while others are discarded after one use.
Salt and the Forum can be played with the new maps as well as those of the base game and all other expansions, thus giving even more variety.
